Portrait Photo Essay

Tres Hermanas

My Photo Essay is about sisters Halle and Peta-Gaye leaving back to states. My sisters and I don't spend a lot time together. My eldest sister, Peta-Gaye lives in Florida and is a teacher. My older sister,  Halle lives in Colorado and is a Pilot. I live in Saipan. As you can see we don't really get to spend a lot of time together. This summer we all went to our home island, Jamaica. We got to spend a lot of time together. Unfortunately, they had to return back to states as summer is coming to an end. My Photo Essay documents them leaving.

(Tres Hermanas means three sisters in Spanish)

1. This is a family photo we took about two days before my sisters (and my niece and nephews) had to go back to the states.

2. My older sister, Halle playing with her niece while packing.

3. My little niece playing around while we were packing. I often refer to her as my little sister. This was one of the last pictures I took of her before they left.

4. They are all packed and ready to go.

5. My eldest sister, Peta-Gaye and her kids taking a picture before they started to get ready for the airport.

6. We are leaving the house. The first trip is of my sister, Halle. Her flight was around 11am, heading to Colorado.

7. We made it to the airport.

8. Halle got out the and proceeded to check in her luggage.

9. The second trip was Peta- Gaye and her kids. Their flight was at 2:30 to Florida. This is my nephews, Alex and Payton, playing around while their mom was checks in the bags. (I am really going to miss their silliness!)

10. Halle walking to her gate.

11. Peta- Gaye lining up at her gate.

"Sister, you are like my angel, with a love that always glows. You are one of the greatest gifts my heart will ever know."
