Final Photo Critique

Image
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” — Aaron Siskind This is my Final Critique and the critique of my 5 best images.  I really like this photo. It is of my sister driving at night. It can fall under motion or night photography. Originally the photo was darker and you couldn't see my sister. I added brightness and exposure which made the outer ends brighter and the lights coming from the cars on the highway pop more.  This photo is from when we had recreate pictures from a famous photographer .This photo was from the famous, Henri Cartier Bresson, the father of street photography. I think this picture came out really well. I especially like how I had a big building and a car in the background just like the original. If I could go back and retake this picture I would have my subject move farther away from the...

Open Project

For my open project I picked: Love Photography and Family Photography  Love and Family are one of the most important things in my life. My family make me extremely happy. We always find ways to have a good time and make memories. That is why I decided to do my open project on them.  "Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life."   Smooches 👄    This is my little nephew Alex. He's a big boy but he's only three! We love to make dance videos to his favorite song, Old Town Road and watch youtube vidoes together.   Mom and Dad These pictures are of the best people in my world. They provide everything for me and I am sooooo glad that I have supportive and understanding parents who show their love for me all the time.  Madre❤ This picture is of my mom and I. I am very grateful for my mom. She is always there for...

Portrait Photo Essay

Image
Tres Hermanas  My Photo Essay is about sisters Halle and Peta-Gaye leaving back to states. My sisters and I don't spend a lot time together. My eldest sister, Peta-Gaye lives in Florida and is a teacher. My older sister,  Halle lives in Colorado and is a Pilot. I live in Saipan. As you can see we don't really get to spend a lot of time together. This summer we all went to our home island, Jamaica. We got to spend a lot of time together. Unfortunately, they had to return back to states as summer is coming to an end. My Photo Essay documents them leaving.  (Tres Hermanas means three sisters in Spanish) 1. This is a family photo we took about two days before my sisters (and my niece and nephews) had to go back to the states.  2. My older sister, Halle playing with her niece while packing. 3. My little niece playing around while we were packing. I often refer to her as my little sister. This was one of the last pictures I...

The connection or relationship between these two photos are that they are all cereals and milk. Cereal is one of my favorite past time snacks so I have a lot of them in my house. The background of these photos are on the balcony of my house in Jamaica this summer.  Theme: Cereal with Milk
